Inventario dei Fenomeni Franosi in Italia (inventory of landslides in Italy)
The national record of landslides that have happened and been mapped, compiled by ISPRA with the Regions and autonomous Provinces.
The IFFI inventory records the landslides mapped in Italy, with the outline of the area affected and, where available, the type of movement and whether it is active. It contains more than 600,000 landslides and can be viewed on ISPRA's IdroGEO platform.
It is different from the PAI: the PAI marks out the areas where a landslide could happen, while IFFI records landslides that have already happened. A recorded landslide is not necessarily still active, and the absence of landslides in the inventory does not rule out the hazard.
In the report we count the IFFI landslides that touch the parcel, those within 100 metres and those within 500 metres. IFFI data is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0: what we derive from it is distributed under the same licence, and the report section says so.
